To: WCASV Members
It’s hard to believe we have another year under our belt; 2022 went by in the blink of an eye. I have been happy to serve as your Vice President the past year and I’m excited to serve as your President for 2023 and 2024. I hope you all remain safe and healthy.
I’m very proud of WCASV’s successes over the last year, particularly in providing more opportunities for meaningful engagement of our members and sponsors at our very well attended annual WCASV Conference in October. At the conference, we announced our two Maxwell scholarship winners, Darian Polluck and Svetlana Ponsin. Congratulations on this achievement! Make sure you save the dates October 19 and 20 on your calendars. That is when our annual Conference for this upcoming year will be held. I hope to see all of you there. In the year ahead, we will continue with educational initiatives, ensuring that we reference our Strategic Plan that was developed in 2021.
Lastly, thank you members for your continued participation and enthusiasm in our professional community, and sponsors for your incredible support. Finally, I’d like to give a special shout-out of appreciation to the WCASV Board, for their tireless work on behalf of the WCASV, and for all their guidance and support they provide each and every day. Thank you all!
Nick Hawkins, WCASV President
